2020 Employment Law Legislative Update

Neil Stern is a uniquely creative labor and employment attorney with decades of experience advising companies ranging from very small businesses up to publicly traded Fortune 500 companies. Neil has separately built and run a small business himself, so he has a deep understanding of the balance his clients require between legal and practical considerations. Neil has deep expertise in all aspects of the employer-employee relationship. Neil has worked with industries ranging from light and heavy manufacturing to commercial printing to restaurants, professional services firms, and most everything in between, enabling him to bring a wide breadth of knowledge to bear on whatever challenges his clients may be facing. For his smaller clients he often functions as, in effect, their HR director, creating policies and helping to implement them, while for his larger clients he serves as a valuable outside resource to their in-house law and/or HR departments, working hand-in-hand with them to achieve their corporate goals. Neil understands that while it’s important to win lawsuits, the real victory often comes from avoiding the lawsuit in the first place.
