10,000 PB&J Sandwiches Event

On April 2^nd, National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day, the family of Broughton Hotel employees will attempt to make 10,000 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in just ONE HOUR! 

 We at Broughton Hotels have recently teamed up with several organizations including, Sarah’s Circle and St. Jerome Ministry, to aid in the fight against hunger in Chicago.  With practice under our belts, we now want to challenge ourselves and put our skills to the test. So, we have set the bar high and we need your help to achieve our goal!

We are calling on you, our friends and neighbors, to unite with us in this cause, a cause that is so prevalent in the city we call home, by assembling teams of your own to join forces with us in this endeavor to “sandwich” hunger. If interested in volunteering on a team or donating goods, please contact Courtney Willingham at     (773) 404-3496 or at courtney@broughtonhotels.com. All participating businesses and organizations will be recognized for their efforts.

We would also love to hear from any facility or group that is in need of the sandwiches that will be made.  So, please, come out to help us show the rest of Chicago what we think community is all about as we work to make a difference…one sandwich at a time!
